Since its establishment in Wuhan, China, in 2011,
Wuhan Homsh has made significant strides in the field of iris recognition technology. From introducing its proprietary Phaselris® iris recognition algorithm and Qianxin® iris recognition chip between 2012-2014,the company has continually innovated.
It launched an iris recognition cloud platform by 2015-2017 and became a national high-tech enterprise involved in drafting national standards for mobile biometrics.
In 2018, their Qianxin Q80 series became a world leader in dedicated iris recognition chips, and the company expanded its focus to include public safety, homeland security, and financial sectors.
By 2019, their iris collectors were recognized by China's Ministry of Public Security.
In subsequent years, Homsh participated in building criminal investigation iris databases across numerous Chinese provinces and expanded internationally with foreign trade orders from Africa in 2021.
By 2022, they were instrumental in drafting seven national biometric identification standards and introduced a new small-size integrated module, MD32.
Looking forward, the company aims to expand its business from being government and enterprise-centric to include the virtual reality AI industry and domestic AI home appliances, extending its reach globally and forging strong relationships with international tech giants by 2023.
